Watch our video itineraries as we explore another small town in the coffee triangle for one week. We show you where to stay, see, eat and drink in Jardin – one of the favourite destinations in the world. We loved the square that our hotel balcony overlooked, with local cowboys venturing in to visit each weekend evening. It’s located a few hours south of Medellin, Colombia and well worth the weekend excursion.
Jardín is an Andean town in northwest Colombia, known for its brightly painted houses, colorful floral displays and milk candies. The main plaza, El Libertador Park, features rose gardens, a central fountain and the twin-towered, neo-Gothic Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, with views from its bell tower. [google]
